Pioneering Evangelization is the charism of the Congregation
Pioneering Evangelization” is the charism of the Congregation. The Congregation was established to take the Gospel to the non-Christians, to plant the Catholic Faith, to build up the Church and to work for the integral human development of the poorest of the poor, downtrodden and those who live at the periphery.
Our Founder, Bro. Paulus Moritz, wanted us to be pioneers in the mission field and has, through his last testament, exhorted us to remain faithful to our missionary vocation. Hence, we seek to fulfil the universal mandate of Christ and the will of our Founder by preaching the Gospel to all.
Brothers work among the poorest people and in the underdeveloped regions of the world and help the people become self-supportive, break the reins of poverty and help them lead successful Christian lives. In addition to the pioneering evangelization undertake the Brothers do undertake works of various nature for the development of the down trodden and those in the periphery. Responding to the signs of the times, this legacy has been carried on in myriads of ways by the Brothers in the following countries: Germany, Italy, Switzerland, North America, Canada, Paraguay, Bolivia, Srilanka, Africa and India.
CMSF charism is Brotherhood dedicated to pioneering Evangelization. Therefore, Evangelization is our Vision, Brotherhood is the Mission, and Pioneering is the way of our existence and action.
